BRAINC's History
Behavioral Research Associates, Inc. (BRAINC) was established in 1986 when we opened our doors to individuals at Southern Avenue, Burns Street in 1987, and Lee Street in 1991, our latest addition is our Nannie Helen Burroughs house, which opened in 1992.
BRAINC is a Non-Profit Organization in the District of Columbia. We have been providing residential services under the ICF/ID model for the past 33 years. BRA is also an approved waiver provider under the Department of Disability Services.
Behavioral Research Associates, Inc is dedicated to the principle that every person it serves has the same basic rights as all other human beings. Our Programs are designed to ensure that each individual receives proper care, education, training, and rehabilitation and support services. It is our responsibility to promote the right of each person to participate in all activities to the maximum extent possible.
